sign up for a Merkalink account has no cost attached. Merkalink
charges no monthly fees. You pay for the handling of the shipments you
make. Handling charges and custom duties must be paid per credit card
prior to shipment .

Prices in US dollars.
The shipment's weight is related to the weight supported by a waybill. Every sent package or envelope needs a separate waybill. Values is CIF Value = Cost, insurance and freight
Handling includes: customer service, merchandise reception and review, forwarding, temporal storage, importation procedures, and the delivery in Mexico using Estafeta. It doesn't include: prolongued storage.
Taxes are charged separately. Magazines, catalogs, and documents are tax exempt. See the Importation and Restrictions section.

The optional insurance has a maximum coverage of $70,000 mexican pesos per parcel. An insurance deductible of 20% with a minimum charge of US$2.50 dollars is applied.
Terms of Storage: The merchandise is stored for a maximum of two months. The storage does not mean that the merchandise can be delivered in the same box. The merchandise that can be packed again without being damaged is sent in the same box. There are some shipments that should stay in their original packing. Every sent box needs a waybill and originates a separate handling charge and overweight. Separate waybills are not considered as overweight.
